Sometimes, when you don’t really feel like going for a hike but it’s really nice out and you’ve been inside all day so you figure you should go anyway, you get more than a nice time in fresh air.
I only had my phone with me, but often for shots in this kind of lighting, I do better with my phone anyway. At least for now.
By the time we reached the end of the trail, it was mostly dark but one pink cloud stripe stretched across the sky.
The moon was lovely. Nearly full and popping in and out from behind wispy clouds. I had a short commiseration with a hiker as they passed us about how often we try and fail to capture the moon.
Our neighbors still have their palm trees decorated with candy cane stripes. A normal, in-focus photo isn’t terribly interesting, so I took it out of focus a bit.
And then I played with it.
Have a great week!
