Everything in today’s post is unedited and taken either with my phone or my Nikon Coolpix, referred to around here as “Nik, Jr.”
The skies were vibrant and the clouds were puffy and it was lovely.
I know many of you have clouds regularly where you are, but it’s rare for skies here to look like this.
Across town, it was pouring rain. Before those clouds opened up, I was at a different location, hoping to hike. The mountains were amazing with the low clouds around them. Sadly, none of those photos turned out very well.
But on this hike, I did play around a bit. Looking up a saguaro:

And a snake! Not a rattler.
